I was at that guys house back in the early 90's. He took us out in the back yard and did a demonstration. 3 shots sounded like one and he could empty the whole gun and it only sounded like maybe 2. Pretty interesting. He was shooting lead ball ammo on a cast iron plate so you could see how many he had actually fired.
