Keep at it, Cindy. I'll be back at it soon too (like tomorrow). I let too many things get in the way. I've stayed right where I was at, weight wise, as when I was last in the gym, but it's been tough. New diet and back in the gym, I'll be back in the game.
Keep ur head up. Stay motivated. I know it's hard to do it by yourself when you are used to having that partner there, but don't let that get you down.

Tuesday, March 23rd
30 minutes elliptical - level 10 Not much, but it was something. I'm almost positive now that, after over 5 years of working out together, I've lost my partner. Still no text and no show.

I'll just have to adjust everything to things I can do without a spotter. There's no way I can lift a 120# bar over my head to put on my shoulders for squats.
This will be an opportunity to change up my routine though, do something different. Maybe I'll start using some iFit workouts on the treadmill in the mornings and doing the P90X workouts in the evenings. It'll be a little while before I can start that though.

Wednesday, May 26th
2 mile fast walk on treadmill  First day back, so I'm starting slow. If I have no ill effects, I'll keep adding a little something. Doc says I may not want to start any high impact or P90X for another 4 weeks or so. That's a heckuva lot better than I expected though. I was afraid it would be 6 months to a year.

20 minutes spin bike 20 minutes quick walk on treadmill at 2-4% incline Superset: crunches, side crunches, leg lifts - 15 each x 2 Push-ups 15 x 2 Bent over rows w/15# dumbbells - 15 x 2 Shoulder press w/8# dumbbells - 15 x 2 Bicep curls w/8# dumbbells - 15 x 2 Overhead tricep extension w/5# dumbbells - 15x Wow! I've gotten weak!!

I don't feel sorry for you. I rejoice that you are sore! It's sorta like how I hammer myself on my bicycle day after day after day... and I'm sore, and Puddin has no sympathy for me cause I do it to myself. But, I could care less that I'm sore. My legs are sore right now, and if it wasn't pouring & lightninging... I probably go punish myself some more!
