I raved about mine so much that The Cheese Head borrowed it to see how he would like it and I haven't seen it since.

Got one of KlockWerks curved, got it before I had heard about Clearview. Love it!

Report: I ended up ordering a 22" clear recurve blem that had one light scratch on it. That worked out well as the scratch was in between mounting holes so it's hidden.

I can still see over it easily and it does seem to shove a lot more wind over you. Which is good. I like it a lot. Nice product and a fair price in my opinion.

I like my klockWerks a lot better than the overstock flat windshield on my bike when I bought it.
The service manager at the Ventura, CA HD stealer rides an '03 RG with the clearview on it.
I was able to see the difference on a nearly identical bike and the Clearview is FAR superior.
I just haven't bought one yet 'cause I'm a tightwad and haven't gotten over the idea of replacing the same item twice...

Rather than going to 22" on the RK, I thought maybe the 19.5" with the recurve would move the air up tad more than a flatty and I could still see over it.
Have the 17" Clearview recurve on my RK and love it. The recurve does give you the 2" - 3" you are looking for. If you are careful in your trial mount (see instructions included with it) they will gladly swap you for a different size. Great folks - great product.

Tom is right, the quality control at the Clearview factory is insane. Most of the ones they mark as blem's can't be distinguished from the ones that pass inspection.

I'm thinking about a Clearview too. I can see just right over the top of my stock shield on the Ultra, but the wind hits me right at the hairline. Tough to keep a hat or do rag on. If I got it right a stock shield is 12" for the Ultra? Will the 12" re-curve get the wind up and over so I don't lose any more head ware? My Ultra is an "03 and it has the badge bolted to the windshield. Anybody know if they can drill the holes to mount the badge?

I have a 6" Clearview on my SG. It works well, I'm 5'10" and it gets the air up to the top of my helmet. I did see the Windvest version in Reno this year. It looks like it's got more recurve to it than the Clearview. When I scratch the current shield up I may go with the Windvest just because it looks like it might get the air up a couple more inches without going to a taller shield.

So is a Clearview for EG's the same height's as stock ones. Like is 12",12".

On the RG it tilts back at the bottom more that stock so a 1" taller is like stock in height but the wind goes way above my helmet.

I have been trying to make a damn deciscion about some new polycarbonate for the Road Glide for what seems like forever.

-Cee Bailey
-Klock Weks
-Clearview

It's just soooo damn confusing...

.....so this morning I google the WindVest site (after seeing that Russ has 2)....they're making windshields for FLTRs now.

Boy do they look good.

Oh Yea

Although they are using the same photo for all their models on their order page...the salesman I talked with is gonna email some photos of a 14'' in smoke & gun smoke...

He said to ask for him when I order & he'd give me a discount.

I like the exaggerated recurve (compared to the CV)...and the dark tint of the big shield...CV only tints their sport shields...

My experience w/ Clearview has been very favorable.
