Weight Distribution & Load Ratings
Does anyone have any data (or know where it is published) that shows the weight distribution on front and rear axles of stock Road King models? Harley publishes the dry weight of the entire bike, but don't tell you how much of that weight is on the front axle and how much is on the rear axle. Either by percentage or actual weight. This would be nice to know WRT load ratings on front and rear tires.
I suppose it could be measured empirically with drive on scales, but where do you find those?
