Want to lower the Street Glide
It has the same shocks (supposedly) that were on the CVO SG last year...
Supposedly as short as HD goes. We put the lowering kit in the front end before we picked it up. Whilst she can ride it, and really has no problem, I would like to see her feet more firmly planted. Ideas??? Burley 10 1/2"? Of course, if she gets new shocks... Daddy gets her old ones.

Russ might be on to something. (don't tell him I said that)
Karen looked to be less than 1" from having solid footing when we were riding today. A thicker soled boot might just do the trick and save her from any possible downsides of messing with the current setup.

Chip I lowered my ultra and in retrospect it totally trashed the ride, I would look at changing or modifying the seat along with the biggest boots you can find

The ride on the Triumph is awful with just an inch taken off the front and rear. I'd go seat and boots first.

A Street Glide is not amenable to lowering. Handling sucks and scrapes abound.

Well.... maybe I'll staple some boards to the bottoms of her boots....
She wears Ariats, which are kinda thick soul'd to begin with. And as she gets used to the bike, it will become easier for her too, she hasn't complained, but I can see.

Want to lower the Street Glide
I have zero experience with low profile tires on a bike, but I can see increased ride harshness if they are anything like the 20s on my Ram. And is the tread profile conducive to how most of us ride?

Yes, the lower seat, Corbin or Mustang.
Something like that at Pig Trail HD last ES, really got the ground closer for the short of leg. Did I ever mention I hate my corbin Dual Tour on the 2011 EG? Now hanging on the wall in the garage.
