Like sands through the hour glass of time..............
Mom passed away this morning. She Lived a very robust and interesting 90 years full of life, and had absolutely no regrets. Very recently her heart had been failing and she had been under Hospice care, comfort measures only. I had breakfast with her yesterday and was to have had dinner with her this evening. Well, I guess Mom had other plans! She had made her peace and was ready. My step-dad is hanging in, the full emotion hasn't set in on him yet.

True that. When my grandmother passed almost 20 years ago, we talked about that. My mom too, saw so many things that we take for granted. Grandmom saw flight take place. Mom saw the first man on the moon.
Telephones in every house, electricity in every house. The Great Depression. WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq/Iran/Afghanistan. Mom was a Great Grand Ma times 3. I'm glad she got to see them and Tyler at least will remember her, he's 13. The other two are 4 and 1 1/2.
