RADM Denton passed away a few days ago. He was a POW at the Hanoi Hilton, 1965-1973. R.I.P. Admiral!

As a veteran, I shed a tear (or many) every time I hear of the passing of another Hero.
It burdens my heart to know that our Bravest and Finest are passing on to their reward, and there are so many fewer, to take up the task of being the example for the generations to follow. To those that have served, and are still serving- Thank you, each and every one, I owe you a tremendous debt, that I can never repay. Thank you for doing "The next right thing, regardless of personal consequence". I have, and will continue, to do my best to follow your example, and to teach others, by what I do, and how I live, to follow that honorable and selfless tradition that you have set forth. Rest in peace, Sir. I add to my list, yet another Hero's passing, and will pray for someone to take up the mantle, that you left behind...........................
