New Mac and Cheese
Shopping list:
Italian Sausage 1# or so Red Pepper (sweet) @ 2TBS worth diced Green Pepper @ 2TBS worth diced Onion @ 1/4 Cu diced Chili Sauce 1 Cu 5oz can of Evaporated milk Elbow Macaroni 2Cu uncooked Water 2 Cu Shredded Cheddar cheese. So, you put the Onion, Peppers and sausage (I cut up links into chunks) in the pan and cook until the sausage is not pink anymore. They said to drain, but I never do. Add in 2 Cu of water and the Macaroni and bring to a boil. reduce heat to simmer until Mac is tender. Add in Evap Milk, and chili sauce, stiring and raise heat to boil and then reduce again and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Remove from Heat, and throw a couple handfuls of shredded cheddar on in and cover for 5 minutes. This was some good chit!
