some pics from the last two days of riding with my bestest friend...
contrary to popular belief there is actually some cool sh!t on a highway 7...i spied this waterfall after a long ride along the river yesterday....
 then amy saw the "armor apache" cooler....i might have to find one of them for squish....  today we found a LONG historical covered bridge way off the beaten path while out scouting some new roads.....which reminds me there may be a route change for squish twenty 10...    all in all a little over 250 easy miles in two days....

some info on the bridge...
Location The Williams Bridge is located in Spice Valley Township in Lawrence County, Indiana and crosses the East Fork of the White River on Huron and Williams Road, south of State Road 450. It is near the unincorporated town of Williams, about two miles downriver from the Williams Dam and eight miles southwest of Bedford. Construction The bridge is a Howe Truss design and was built in 1884 by Joseph 'J.J.' Daniels. Its two spans cover a total length of 373 feet (114 m), with a deck width of 14.7 feet (4.5 m) and a vertical clearance above deck of 19.2 feet (5.9 m). History In 1981, the bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places. It is currently the longest covered bridge in Indiana that is still open to vehicular traffic. The Medora Bridge at 434 feet (132 m), in Jackson County, remains the longest covered bridge in the state, but it was closed to all but pedestrian traffic in 1972.

we totally stumbled on the bridge....i saw a small sign along the road and since i'm a real sucker for old barns and covered bridges i made the detour...

We've got 16 of them in our county including the longest one n the states and are currently building what will be the shortest. They even have a covered bridge festival every summer. Here is a pic of me heading into the longest one.
