The Harley did get a lot of good press, however didn't win in their comparison. I think they wanted the Harley to come out on top, but the HP and torque of the Indian sold em. No big D! People are going to buy what they want.

I've never cared for the look of the vision since it first came out in 2007. Now you can add that Indian to that list as well.

It's pretty impressive in person but I don't like the leather colored leather seat with that color scheme.

I haven't ridden the Chief, but I agree with their assessment of the CCT. It's a really competent bike that's let down by the cheap-looking switchgear. Then again, you can get brand new ones for less than $20,000........

I gotta say, I'm much happier on a sport-tourer.

I've been thinking about it for a while and the decision just became easy. I rode the EGlide to work yesterday after barely riding last summer due to injuries, and it felt like dancing with a drunk, fat, butch girl in galoshes. I'll keep the shovel, but the bagger is pending sale.
I'm not really in a hurry, but the Yαmaαhα FJR1300ES is likely in my future. The Hónda ST1300 does nothing for me and the Kαwαsaαki Concours lacks a couple of features I lump into the must-have column. If the '16 models were to show up with those features, I'd have to think about it. A Beemer is not a practical machine to own here, unless I want to do ~150 mi round trips to the dealer.

And then there's the weight and overall ponderousness of an EG. Great highway machine, but man....They just don't want to dance. Sure, they can do it, but it's like watching Rosie O'Donnell do yoga. Harley makes a great touring bike....It's just not my speed anymore.

Guess I'll just put gas in my Cross Country and ride while the wise ones here assess the voracity of the review.

If they wanted to compare apples, they should have used the Limited. That fixes most of the "downs".
