Rode Over To The CMA Bike Blessing This Morning
David, Rod and Mongo were already there.
What I learned (or remembered) already this year: Fingerless gloves donÃÕ work on a 45 degree day. The wind chill factor is greater at 70 mph than at 50 mph. Riding with good friends helps keep you warm. BACON and eggs will get you through. A do rag is not as effective as a helmet to keep your ears warm. Close is relative in the cold. IÃÎ not as young as I used to be. But I am blessed.

Sounds like you had to cool the body in order to warm the spirit.

I'm still on the fence when it comes to finger-less gloves.
Thick wool socks from REI are a must have on cold day, or night, rides... Some day I might pick up a pair of lined roper type gloves, for now I have my thermo lined gauntlets... Sounds like you had a great day sir...

I have no use for fingerless gloves.
