roller rockers?

How critical/necessary is it to install roller rockers on my 1995 FXDWG? I am gathering parts to do a mild improvement - KB flat top pistons . 020 over (thanks Woody), EV 27 cam/lifters/adjustable pushrods, some carb work on stock CV, and possible some SE heads (if I can get the ebay deal im hoping for).

thanks guys

thanks guys.. should they be changed out at all for standard rockers as a matter of practice when the heads are off?? Or leave them in if they are fine? I have about 37,000 miles, most of which has been put on it since I bought this bike 2 1/2years ago..

Do a good visual inspection to check for wear. Check the inner bushing and the 2 tips(spring and p-rod) and make sure they are nice and smooth with no grooves or other issues.

Chances are they are fine, but i have had to change them out on bikes with a lot more and less mileage....
