Strong Vibration 2008 Street Glide
I have a friend with a stock 2008 Street Glide around 1800 rpms he has a seriuos vibration/shake. He can feel it in the handle bars and the floor boards. It smooths out after he gets above 2000 rpms.
He replaced the motor mounts with after market. This did not help. Any ideas? I was think possile crank TIR problem.

I'd also be looking at the tires. When were they balanced and by who? I'm assuming he hasn't changed to laced wheels.

I'd check the compensator first. My 06 had the exact same symptoms and the comp was slightly loose and the springs were weak.
