Johnny B.
A good friend of mine, Johnny, has had a rough time of it. We were stationed together in England for quite a while. Last year he was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Had quite a sizeable tumor in his pancreas. They were able to remove the tumor, but then everything started spreading. He's been through some pretty aggressive chemotherapy which works sometimes. He relocated to San Antonio to be near some of the best military oncologists that are out there. He and his family are doing their best living day to day. He's currently hunting for a new doc that can treat him as well as his current doc. Problem is trying to slow the spread of the disease. He has several tumors in his lungs and on a few of his organs.
If you could do him a favor, send a few up for him. He's always been a guy that would give you the shirt off his back. It's tough seeing someone that you know so well go through what he has.

Dear Heavenly Father,
I pray that you would be with Johnny during this illness. Comfort him and give him peace. Guide him to the right doctors and guide their wisdom in treating his pancreatic cancer. I pray for a miraculous complete remission of his cancer. I pray that he would grow closer to you and learn to trust you in all things. Watch over him and his family. Meet all of his needs in mind, body, spirit and soul. In Jesus Christ's name I pray, Amen!

...this hits close to home, I've been having panceas problems for the last 5 years, taking meds to keep it in check, they added a new med just last week.
