my touring bike did not come with a tour pak,

so i bought one of these.

I used it for the first time last weekend and loved it. Heavy ABS, fit and finish was good. The mounting hardware that came with it was crude, I bolted it to the hd quick release bracket. 10% more interior room and figuring a 20% discount on the hd unit, it's still $400 less, and includes the rack. The latch and lid support are not as good, I'll have to carpet it myself, and of course, add some pockets.

A decent value.

Huck, nice tour pak. I had the same one with the brake light. Great pak for the price. Spray the inside with a bedliner spray and get rid of the cheap matts it comes with. Love he chrome rack on time. Looks good.

I bookmarked that site. That is just what I need maybe, I've been tossing around another idea in my head (seems to be plenty of room up there).

I didn't realize they were bigger than the king tour pack. I have the king on my scoot and it's much bigger than this one that my buddy has on his bike. Does this one come in different sizes?

They make a smaller one, I think the one Ironman is talking about, that has a lighted spoiler. HD claims 3850 cu in for the king tour pak 22x16x11, the dimensions of the tour pak I ordered from ridebikegear.com are published as 22.5x17x12. In pictures, the king looks bigger to me, need to get them next to each other and compare I guess.
