Replaced a bike and a truck

Recognizing that with the career change that my riding has changed forever, I made an adjustment. The KLR I bought as a commuter bike is gone. I'll never be able to do that again, and off-roading, while fun, just gives me too much pause. And on the rare occasion that I get to ride anymore, I found myself on a Harley rather than the bog-slow (but barrels of fun) Adventure bike. So off it went. And then there was the truck I bought specifically to get me and a bike out of this area to go on long rides. Yeah, those days will be few and far between too. So off went the Silverado.

But I was left with an (admittedly) badass Wrangler.......

......which also suffers with horrific fuel mileage. I commute about 75 miles a day, and during the week (when traffic is at its worst), the best I can muster is about 17mpg. So the responsible, Earth-friendly thing to do was to get an efficient commuter car.

So I gots me a 2014 Turbo Mini Roadster. These things depreciate like stones, so I picked it up dirt cheap (like a 3-year-old car at less than 50% of sticker). It's crazy fun, and gets 35mpg, even in our $hitty traffic. Handles like a damn go-kart.

Wicked fun, doesn't break the bank, and gets killer mileage.
