It'd have to have been really shakey at that height....
this one at Harbor freight (http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/cta...emnumber=91764
) says the height rage is 7-31 inches .... I don't think that is high enough to reach the tailgate on my truck, maybe, I'd have to measure, but I'm not home now so that will have to wait ......... besides .... I don't think that I'd like to run my bike out on it while it was raised up like that

What are the advantages of the Lift over the Jack ? I like the Jack because you can rotate the tires. I mostly use my "Jack" for cleaning and changing the oil, maintnance. Nice to be able to rotate the tires when cleaning. I have thought about that HF Lift too. But just not sure what it would give me over the jack. I can move the jack out of the way pretty easy too.

Is the lift more for serious engine and or tranny work?

With a table lift, how would you drop the wheels?

With a good jack, its a piece of cake....

It has a pull out. You put a small jack under the bike and lift which ever end you want up, usually the rear and pull the plate out. I never used mine that way, always put it on the sears jack to service the wheels
