Dan, having ridden all those motors Saturday, did you notice the stiffer front end?

That's a huge improvement in design. I wonder if it could be felt.

I sat on a 2014 Limited in the dealership and vigorously pushed the handlebars back and forth. It felt much stiffer to me.

Whenever I upgrade my '08, it will likely be for the Ultra Limited. The CVO's are awesome bikes but the delta on what they come with vs. what I would chose to install myself works in favor of the Limited. Observations like Daniel's make me feel like I am leaning the right way when it gets time to make a move.

If they made a Limited in a color that turned me on, I'd probably look hard at one. But, mama has her heart set on the blue CVO Limited, and if she's happy, I'm happy too.

I wonder if the new 2014 triple trees and fork tubes will fit the 2009's, 10's, 11's, 12's, and 13's.

That would be a worthwhile upgrade.

I think somewhere I read about this and the thought was there were some suttle differences in the set up so it wouldn't work.

How would they encourage you to buy a new bike if you could retrofit your old one.

Neck bearings and stem are different. No fit the oldies...

yeah, I've heard that too. I don't think anyone has actually tried it yet.

It did ride better, more stable, more comfortable. I don't know if was because of the increased diameter of the forks or the cartridge system they've gone back to.
