we have a one-piece tub/shower in Kohler beige...put in 34 yrs ago when i built the house...not much choice in colors back then...
white...beige...yellow...blue...green... i replaced the flooring with a lighter color...and white vanity...white walls and light almond trim brightened it up... wife changes the shower curtain with the season/holidays, so you cant really see the tub/shower unless youre in it....

It may depend on the market, but I've talked with realitors about eliminating the tub in the master bath when you have a nice shower. They have said it's not a problem.. Still, a nice deep soaker tub can't be beat.

I have 6 shower heads controlled by 2 valves. ( Guess who has 5?)
Knock it all out and make it really luxurious. Don't forget to heat the floor and add a towel warmer. -+-*&$&#*#- Sent from my self repaired, salvaged Droid X. Cause I got skills. Minor ones,but still...
