Best weather guard is to pack all your cloths in 1 gallon zip lock backs. Each bag holds three shirts socks and underwear or two pair of blue jeans. Just cut 1/4 inch off one corner so they do not reinflate after you zip them shut. Keeps things organized as well. They do not add space, they actually make things stay smaller.

i've been known to use that very trick when packing for deployments, it works very well..

Hey I make up for a lot of extra material with the waist line. You are right, you tall round people need one bag for each leg of a pair of jeans.

Keeping Momma happy is very important, if not the most important, on a road trip.
