Holy crap.... Lucas sold out and I'm not just talking about those 3 crappy prequels. He just sold LucasFilm to disney for 4 billion dollars.

Damn.

Disney already has 3 new star wars movies gearing up for 2015. They also now own Indiana Jones as well.

It's actually (probably) a good thing. Disney can throw a ton more money at ILM, which means better effects for everyone. More SW movies means that my son will have ridiculous stuff to watch for the foreseeable future. And now there's a chance that the OT will be released on Blu-ray unmolested.

I still hate that guy.

kind of hoping for the next trilogy they bring back the original cast and launch the new movies from the book series about Luke and mara jade's kids and han and Leia's kids.

There was (back in '77 or '78) supposed to be a third trilogy. That Idea vanished sometime during the '90s. No way you'll see the original cast in another film. Too old, Ford won't do it (he hated the character), and the rest of them aren't stars anymore.

ah, but the others were never stars, ha... although your on the money with Ford, heard him bad mouthing starwars in the past and how one dimensional solo was. Just didn't live up to his acting prowess.

Although he did do the crystal skull, so judging his mental state anything could happen. If they did the stories around the time Chewbacca gets killed I don't think the ages would be a problem. That would fit the timeline pretty good.

Bet they follow the books and Boba comes back.

I'm just glad that this could be the end of Lucas selling out the classics. Did you see the Coke machine that Obi Wan walked past on his way to disable the John Deer tractor beam in the Blu-Ray release?
