Anyone who has ever had a coronary bypass operation or a heart transplant should thank this man. The science would not be where it is today without him.

The man was an engineer that also happened to be a doctor. A true Renaissance Man. it isn't always about organic and inorganic compounds that make the doctor. A good doctor needs to have a good grounding in ALL of the sciences. We now have prosthetic devices that will help people for life. Knees, hips, shoulders. There are also exterior devices that assist standing and walking for the parpalegic. I hope that this never stops, there are to many that goe before their time. I am not talking about keeping a corpse alive, I am talking about procedures that can add normalcy to someone's life.
I am proud to live in a country where these cutting edgwe medical procedures are developed. Nationalized medicine? are you crazy?

He was a hell of a Doctor, my father who justed passed 5/10/08 had his top team caring for him the last 2 years here in Houston, it sucked that after 1.5 million in hospital and doctor bills they told him 3 days before he died the cancer spread to every part of his body and there was nothing they could do anymore, the old man gave up at that point,,,
