IMHO it is extremely difficult to find a better guitar player than David Gilmour. For me, I have never heard a guitar actually emote the way he makes it do. The solo in Comfortably Numb can almost bring me to tears, it projects such sadness.

If there is one thing Pink Floyd is, it is not shallow.
