Toys arrived

The tour pack I ordered came in today. Replaced the original hinges with the fancyones, but almost lost part of my thumb in the process. In drilling out the rivets on the originals, one of the metal backing plates came loose and the sharp end carved a nice smiley in my right thumb. Made the rest of the install interesting.....

Will post pics once I get it mounted. Will work well for our trips we are planning.

I have a luggage rack for the top of it that will be dropped off at the powdercoater this week. Picking up the fork lowers and cowbells on Friday. Dunno when I will get time to put them on with the wedding just around the corner.... Oh and I need to get to the 1000 mile service too....so many tasks, never enough time.

The purty chrome ones. Seem to be better made and look better than the ones that came on it....

yep! I hope to get the bracket on the pack and get it on the bike today. I ran out of daylight yesterday. I have to wash the bike too, otherwise the tour pack will make the rest of the bike look dirty
