Down almost a quart in miles after build...is this normal?

I originally was showing down a quart after 1k miles after the build, the dealer ripped the engine apart, replaced the valve seals and rings and now I'm still using oil. Is this normal? Well should I be concerned or just add the oil occasionally?

Be concerned. My build barely uses any oil.

Maybe a little the first 500-1000 mi or so, but that's it.

I'm assuming you meant 2500 mi?

If you were running hard in the mountains and have the stock oil pump it may puke oil out the breather,... but you should have noticed that on your cam cover.

My whole trip was 3343 miles and I used just about a quart. I rode pretty hard and my oil temps were always around 230. I am not happy about using oil but I am not that worried about the amount I used.
