I HAVE HAD IT WITH THIS $#!?...
...snow, Snow & MORE SNOW, ...this maybe great for the Ski Areas but I'm getting sick of it down here in the valley! I wanna get the bike out...
But then it will be good for the spring run off, they say... ...it'll be entertaining to hear all the b!tching going on over who's fault it is when they have to open the flood gates on the Boise River... It'll be interesting to see what happens down stream in the "Eagle Island" area!?!? (that's land between the Boise River) A lot of really upper end homes have been built there over the last 20 years by wealthy new comers to the valley. 3 years ago there was a little flooding and some lawyer who lives there was up in arms wanting the city and corp of engineers to do something! All those folks knew they were building in the 100 year flood plain, land that used to flood regularly in the early 80's. I don't wish them harm, but I don't want to hear their figging whinning when (if) they start to see water running around their homes...

No doubt the whining will be loud alright. No way they could have made a mistake! Gotta get the Corp in to fix my mistake....

I guess dealing with the snow aint so bad, compared to what Mega has to put up with! I'll count my blessings...

The exact same thing is happening in parts of England. Homes flooded every couple of years as they are built on flood plains, but it's nobodys fault but the weather.

Hasn't happened in a while here, but it used to happen in parts of Texas too,... around the Trinity River below the dam when they have too much water in the lake (due to heavy runoff), they open the flood gates... the bitchin starts, people's homes flood,.... But they built there knowing all that of course.
