Truck is Paid Off

Just made the last payment, Woo Hoo! It has 108K miles, needs new tires, a new power window actuator, new shocks, an alignment, new DRL sockets, new rotors, e-brake, etc. but it's all mine!

When I padi my truck, off I turned it into bike payment. When I paid that bike off, I turned it into another bike payment. Anything you like out there? Quick, before the wife, figures it out.

She already has plans to turn it into another bike payment. For her! She has her eyes on a Triumph Bonneville.

My plans are to save for a more fuel efficient commuter car. Anyone know what mpg a Boxter gets?

Not bad. How old is your truck? What make? My Ram just passed 45k miles, and it's 2 years old. So far so solid. Had the drivers side front wheel bearing and ABS sensor replaced at about 5k, since then, all it's been is oil changes and routine maintenance.

Have a few more years to pay on it too.....

Congrats! We paid off our '01 truck back in '05 and it has 128K miles. Still going strong and there is nothing like having a free and clear title

It's an '02 Avalanche that I bought in '04. Just had to do the left front wheel bearing, and it chews through rear brakes thanks to the bias being set wrong from the factory that year. Other than that it's been a good truck, well thought out and flexible. It has a long way to go to match my Explorer, I traded that with 186K miles.

you and me both....that's how I got the ultra....paid my truck off in december...u joints, stuck door....rust....

That's pretty much how it goes here. We pay something off, then vow not to buy anything more. Only around here, the wife is complicit.
