Tried trading the RG for an RK ....
Yeah, the gold glitter RG is top heavy for me. As much as I love the radio and nav system an RK is just easier for me to handle. Found one I wanted (not many used RKs up for sale) same bike, same year, same mileage, but he wouldn't give me any money back for the fairing. At first he wanted $2350 plus my bike and after 1/2 hour haggling he agreed to an even trade but I just can't give the fairing away for free.
https://www.downhomeharley.com/defau...OwnedInventory I took the Sundowner seat off and put the stock seat back on. Lowered me at least an inch and I can easily put my feet on the ground. Much easier to walk the bike now. I'll save the Sundowner for long trips.

I put a set of 13" Ricors on the 'b' more than several years ago. Built and valved for me, easy peasy to adjust, not one problem with 'em since I got 'em. Not as fancy as Ohlins, but way better than the stockers and more than adequate for me. http://store.ricorshocks.com/product_p/20-10-2006.htm JRi also has several options. I recall maybe one or two members here running JRis. Can't say for sure, tho. Moderately priced....... https://www.jrishocks.com/shop/power...-harley-shock/ and spendy....... https://www.jrishocks.com/shop/power...-harley-shock/ Good luck in your endeavor.
