What cutter and lighter do you use?

I'll start.

Xikar X8 cutter. - Light, sharp, will cut a 64 Ring in half. Dished area where you can lay your cigar in a pinch.


Black-Ops 'Alpha' Lighter, Blackout. (Also comes in "Arctic", which I think would begin to look like used toilet paper after a very brief time in my possession.) - Dual torch that's easy on the fuel. Bleed it every 2-3 fills and it'll last forever. Have 2 spares still in the wrap, and I don't hardly touch my other lighters except on trips.

Xikar Xi2 cutter and Xikar ELX:G2 lighter. Very pleased with them both. The lighter fell apart bouncing around in my saddlebag a year or so ago. Called Xikar, sent the broken one back, had a new lighter in a week.

I like Xikar.

Either a cheapo, plastic guillotine cutter that doesn't have a brand and you get for like $1 or an 11mm Xikar punch which works well.

I bought a couple of cheap, but refillable torch lighters from the local B&M. My favorite is a quad torch that after a couple seconds the flame turns dark red. You can see it easily in the daytime. I looked and the brand appears to be "Made in China".

I use my dual purpose rock, I throw it at the cigar and the spark when it hits the ground gets a nice flame going

I use a triple flame Jetline that I am unsatisfied with. Does not light reliably but is comfortable in the hand. I will be in the market for a replacement.

I use cheapy plastic double bladed guillotine cutters that I replace as needed. I'm ambivalent about these cutters but they do work for me.

Kershaw Leak for a cutter, but I only use the sharp part of the blade, never the serrated part.

Two lighters, neither of which has a brand name to my knowledge. One came with a cigar bundle as a freebie.

I have two cheapo guillotine cutters. The one that has holds on both ends works well.

And I'm still using a bic...or matches.

Colibri seems to be universally reviled in recent years. Nosedive in QC.
You can get some good deals on the cigar auction sites on some of the decent torches.
I paid, like, $7 for mine on cigarbid.
