I went with the ugliest pipes on the market. The good part is they sound good under acceleration and give good HP, but at steady cruise any speed over 55mph, they are virtually silent. I'll put up with the ugly.

Had Wild Pigs w/ 1.75 baffles, but took them off while awaiting a firmware update from TMax to cure a decel backfire issue. I'd consider them fairly loud (reportedly in the 100dB range), but not too harsh.
Have stock 07s on at the moment. They sound like someone's baby farted through a diaper with Snuggles the bear stuffed in there for good measure.

Hooker Header Rebel Drags, good sound during acceleration. After a couple hous in the saddle, my ears are ringin. The pic below is when I had stock pipes, not the new ones.
