I think it was just a bad batch of chrome, as I can't think of anything I did (or failed to do) that would have caused it.

Noice! Seems like it'd almost be an even swap. Your wheels are listed as accessories and I believe they are the same price, no?

Tars might be a tad bit more expensive.

On the bright side..it may not be getting stockier but maybe it's getting bonier?

Not unlike picking up a screw with a tire warranty?

The Agitators are $50 MSRP more than my stock wheels. Then there's the $70 front and rear installation kits, the $170 each front rotors, and then the ridiculously expensive tires. The bonus though is that the 18" rear tire's about an inch taller than stock. Better highway mileage and more cornering clearance. These are good things.

I was waiting to see if the service guy asked if I'd waxed the wheel weekly like the manual says to.

Same experience with OG. Bonus having some (at least one confirmed) of the folks from Elkridge.

Wheels look awesome.

They gonna re-program your ECM to correct the resulting speedo error?
Like you need help getting a ticket...

What Sir Pipes-a-Lot said. With the TTS I can correct the speedometer. Use the GPS to figure out actual speed, then make the adjustments.

Still might be prudent to add a buffer...

I picture Ricky Bobby going around the track after he got back in his car.
