My wife is a 10 year breast cancer survivor...our prayers are with you.Ours was the same diagnosis.We are now cancer free.We live in a great time and there have been hugh advances since my wife's treatment...keep the faith.

Stacy, your referral to cancernet.com got me thinking (it probably took everyones prayers as well to get me thinking) about what is close to me, rather than my wife. After some research I found out that the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center here in Houston is rated number 1 in the US. See link: http://www.usnews.com/directories/ho...ialty+IHQCANC/ They have an on-line self referral form and a treatment center in Bellaire just 2.5 miles from my apartment. I have asked my wife not to wait for her local doctor, but to fill out the form tonight! I don't know if she will qualify for it but they have one treatment that just requires 5 days of targeted radiation call Mammosite. I'll update y'all when I know more.
