Now it's thye speedo that's knacked.

The new 08 fat fcuk I got last year has had;
2 new rear fenders fitted
1 new fitting kit as the old one was bent and was bending the rear fenders out of shape.
2 new N band sensors as the old ones stopped working (now bypassed thanks to DC member)
2 new rear shocks as the old ones were siezed solid (adjustment) and had to be replaced.

Now the speedo has so much moisture in it that it is almost impossible to read the speed.

Question from dealer; did you ride it in the rain. This is Scotland you moron, the question should be, did you ride it in the dry. Yes sir I had to, it started raining when I was bringing it in for another of it's repairs, and the point of your question is what? He did not reply.

Total miles so far 1,201.
Times in shop under warranty repairs 7.

I have 5 other Harleys but this one is a real crapper.

Obviously it had been riden in the rain, it shrunk into a Sportster.

The Sportster speedo and rev counter have almost been submerged and still have no moisture in them, the old glide went acroos the whole of Europe in some really heavy weather and can still read the speedo fine, the 88b fat fcuk has been out in the rain and is washed with a pressure washer, speedo is fine. This is a brand new bike, but no point in the lemon law as most of it has now been done and a new one might be just as bad.

My Heritage speedo is getting foggy around the edges too....

Is there a way to dry it out?

Some sort of dessicant to use?

NO, spent all my money on Harleys.

3 are mine 2 are the boys but we drive any one we want.

This new one has been built by the HOS company just prior to them getting a decent quality control manager at the York factory. It seems some were so bad like mine, that when the dealer calls Harley UK and gives them the serial number they automatically say replace the part/s.
