Someone told me that although you can buy Dunlop tires anywhere, you can only buy the actual Harley OEM Dunlops from the dealership. Is that correct??

I believe this is true. The only time I've bough from the dealer was when the size didn't exist elsewhere. The tires on my Street Glide are pretty good, even wearing, so it'll be hard not to go with them again, thigh there are alternatives out there now unlike just over a year ago. I like the prices outside the dealer much better though.

I do not think that is correct.
Lots of places out there sell Dunlop tires with
the Harley Davidson logo on them.

Dunlop is the only manufacturer, that I know of, that
makes the Harley Davidson branded tire.
