The one time I tried metzelers I got stuck with the under sized made in Brazil slippery ones.
Was not a happy camper.

I ran the ME880s at sidewall pressure but don't recall the number. When very new, they seemed squirrely, almost like they had ArmorAll on 'em. This went away in maybe 100 miles. They proved to be the stickiest, most long-lasting tires I've had. After that first 100 I became a huge fan of their grip. I got 13,500 on the rear and swapped the not-yet-done (but cupped) front at the same time. Switched to Venoms and have been repeatedly disappointed. The MEs were far stickier than the Avons in my estimate.
I will most likely go back to them next time. Edit: mine were the made-in-Brazil undersized, but decidedly not slippery tires.

Loved the 880s, however the front tire cupped and I was told it was because of tire pressure. Cant remember what pressures I had in them, but definately keep an eye on it.

The recommended pressures at the link I posted are substantially higher than the Dunflops.
