What is the best full sized 9mm out there?
What is the best full sized 9mm out there?
Well, best under a grand. I love my .45s, but they get expensive on range days... My LC9 is a good backup carry, but it's not fun to shoot, feels like I have to take a step backwards to get through the trigger... K ren's Kimber is fun, but it's, well, K ren's... I enjoy shooting Rick's XD9, I bought that for him and traded it for the POS Taurus PT111 that is now in the bottom of a drawer waiting for their lawsuit to settle. It is un-shootable. I miss my Ruger P89DC that I carried on the Sheriff's Dept. Should have never let that one go, but when I had no money, and no deer rifle, I hunted way more than I went to the range, I did what I had to did. Here's my short list: CZ 75, Undecided on which exact color/configuration... there are a few I like. I really like the availability of the CZ 75 Kadet Adapter kit that turns it into a 22LR Springfield XDm, in 5.25. I really like my XDs .45 really well I like the SIG P226 line, but they might be a bit pricey for what I want. Ruger SR9 or All American? I would have to shoot one to feel the trigger, but I've always been a Ruger fan. Love the Kimber 1911 9MM offerings, but they're not what my heart wants, I think my next 1911 will be a Browning 1911-22 Full size. Can't make myself like Glocks. Maybe I ought to buy one, and learn to love it LOL

Julie has a Glock 17 which is nice, but I like my G 19. The next time I get the dough, I’m in the market for a Baretta M9. LOVE the way it sits in my hand.

It's not full size, but my Ruger SR9C is a pleasure to shoot, fit's well in my hand, and isn't so bad to carry concealed if I choose.

Not really. Nothing they have makes me want to reach for my wallet. I've never been a S&W fan. I've owned a handful of them, from an Airweight 38 that I gave to my son, to my stainless .357 Model 681, to a .44 Model 29 with an 8 3/8 barrel. They just don't trip my trigger

I have the Springer XDm 5.25. It was a good and fun pistol right out of the box. I dropped in the Powder River trigger kit and OMG it's a whole different gun (in a good way). It is now my go to gun for steel matches.

CZ 75 BD, best balanced metal 9mm I have ever held and reasonably priced. I have the 75 BD, 75 P01 (compact metal gun) P 07, CZ 82 (9X18 Makarov) and a CZ 97 (full size 45 ACP). I have never been disappointed by any of the CZ products I have owned.

Isn’t “full size 9mm” an oxymoron?
