I can recommend this book as well. I've always been intrigued by Sonny and the story of the Hell's Angels. I was able to meet him and get him to sign my copy at Sturgis back in 2006-



If you notice the guy to the right of Sonny, I ended up in line with him and group of other Hell's Angels at the bar. Couldn't help but notice that all but a few of them had knives that would pass for a broadsword tucked into the back of their jeans. Found out later that one of the more common reasons for this is that is that the guys with felony convictions carry knives and most of the others had concealed carry permits.

Unfortunately, there did end up being a gunfight between the HA and the Outlaws later that week. Helped keep in perspective that while Sonny might be semi-retired, there are still a lot of dangerous people involved with some of these clubs. Especially the new guys that are trying to make an impression.

on Bullys. When you read it, it's funny. HA's will always jump in when

one of them gets in a fight. He'll ignore the facts if the HA was being the

bully. I think the "best" time around them is when the blood/alcohol

level is within reason. Which is when???
