A ride that needs to be made!
Two years ago, Fire46 and I rode to OH with the main goal being to visit my cousin Bill. Some of you have either seen my posts about him or heard me talk about him. He is the one who started my love afair with Harleys, giving me my first ride over fifty years ago and I wanted him to see me on my own scoot. Well, the day we were to visit him he was rushed to the hospital with pneumonia and I did not accomplish the goal.
Bill is a WWII and Korean War vet and has put some major miles behind a set of HD handlebars. He is 89 years old and now resides in the assisted living quarters at the V.A. Hospital in Erie, PA. I know seeing a (or better yet, a bunch of) shiney HD would bring a smile to his face and recall a lot of great memories. I need to get this done soon while he is still with us and September is the target month. Would welcome anyone who would like to ride along or possibly meet me in Erie.

I'd love to go, but I'm gonna be gone for 10 days in September, and I don't know when I'm getting my bike back. I'm there with you if I'm available.

The only thing I have going on in September right now is Tri-County tomorrow and Cheesapalooza in 2 weeks. Any other weekend, I can probably make it.

tom, what are the plans? you know I can't take time off, and russ and dana's wedding is on the 19th
