First day at the build

It was rainy, cold, and incredibly muddy, but I had a great time. I did some moving of supplies, and some stuff for administration. The house came down, the footings were poured, and the bricklayers (90 of them!) had a good start on the foundation, by the time I left. I scored 2 t-shirts, the blue workers shirt, and the red admin shirt ( jobs are color coded, so they know you are in the right place, doing the right job). I also got a special hat from the contractor in charge of the build, which was a sought after item. I met some really great people, and can't wait to get back tomorrow.
