A new adventure
I have been thinking about taking this plunge for some time, but just had not pulled the trigger. Now that the bike is out of commission and I'm likely not going to be riding for 3-4 months I decided to make the leap.
I have a number friends who are involved in this sport and they convinced me of the fun and flexibility. So, without further delay, here is my new to me Kayak. This is a Sea Stream Angler 120 PD (Peddle Drive). It's not a top of the line by any means. In fact, it's probably closer to the bottom of the peddle drive units but it's a start. Sleeveless is already interested too, so I'm actively looking at adding more to the stable.

As I'm planning to add at least one more, and possibly a double seater I picked up this trailer recently. It's got storage and can haul 3 fishing kayaks in flat mode, or up to 6 if stacked on their sides. It's a converted galvanized boat trailer that was modified. Has 15' wheels that really make it easy to move around by hand. Even with 1 bad shoulder.
The lower storage box had a broken lock assembly. That I fixed tonight after dinner. What should have been a 10 minute job took more than an hour and some custom modifications, but it's working.
