Dyna Questions

Ok, got some PITA stuff to do on my bike, my engine mounts have crapped out.

1st ? Are all the top engine mounts for big twin evos the same?

1a Should i replace all 3?

2nd ? Are urethane or nolathane front engine mounts available?

3rd ? I've scored a carlini torue arm, will this reduce flexing and improve handling?

Any thoughts on the "True Track" set-up or "Sputhe Positrak" for early Dynas?

Pay no attention to the unwashed masses, they don't recognize them because you never see an evo at Starbucks, only on the road.

Dyna should be a two mount, FXR and Touring bikes are three, and I believe the top mounts are different between bikes but I can't say for sure.

Check between the engine and transmission, the two mount system on Evo Dynas sometimes caused cracks between the two.

With that I've reached the end of my knowledge.

I talked to a guy who had the Sputhe tracking stuff on his bike. He said it helped out a great deal and kept the bike tracking straight.
I always wanted to buy the posi-track for my Dyna, but the money was never there. Someday soon, I will have the money to purchase one.

I would have to look in the garage, I have a manual but I am at work, my dyna tracks very true already, I had my hands off the bars for a bit this past weekend, no problem..

I have a question for you though, does the pull on your clutch feel hard? I hadn't ridden it in a while and it felt real hard to pull in, I lubed the cable and changed the fluid last nite.

I haven't done it yet but I will in the spring... HD makes a $35 kit to make you clutch a reduced effort setup...gives a new spring and ramp setup. It can't be hard to add.... I is definitely gonna do dat one.

not sure if that fits on an evo? I did it on my RK when I put apes on it worked well
