Beach bars look great, but if I were to put new ones on, I'd go with 1.5", 1.25" at a minimum...

DS-300259 Freeway bars, 6 1/2" rise; 35" wide; 12" pullback

RK Custom bars (as near as I can measure) are 30.5" wide..5" rise and 11" pull back...

Will know more in a couple of weeks (Carlini Freeway 1.5" are on back order)...

Heck..I may end up with the "same" Freeway model bar (except 1.25" diameter) because it has an addtional 2" of pullback or: 6.5X35X14. GO FIGURE??
Will know more once they are bolted to the triple tree??

Those bars will be a good excuse for not splitting traffic.

Hey Chromer, I don't know what kind of miles you do on your Road King, but remember if you do longer miles, just make sure your handlebars will be comfortable for you. I do what I consider long miles at times when I go on crosscountry trips, so I go for comfort first, and coolness second. These are usually anywhere from 700 to near 800 per day when I'm just trying to get somewhere fast. Other days are not as long.

If you're into shorter rides, no doubt those fat beach bars you've picked look way cool! I love the way your bike looks.

And,... as you have said in the past....

Road Kings Rock!
