New oil filter for Milwaukee 8 engines
After 4 years they figured out they need to redesign the oil filter for more flow. It's about 1/2" longer and supposedly provides 25% more media surface and more flow.

Can't see why you can't use it on a TC?
Just a larger surface area of filtration and better flow. Remember back if you used a syn oil in the early TC, the world would end, then HD came out with their holy Syn 3 oil, the only syn allowed to go in the engine from that point in time forward. Kind of like using a taller (I.E.) Ford P/N FL 1A in place of a FL 300 if it could fit between frame and engine.
