Cams & Pipes
I posted a few times about the Supertrapp Supermeg and the Andrews 26h cams I bought for my 07 FLHTC 96 ".
I finally got them in on Saturday and took a brief 25 mi ride yesterday in 34 degree partly cloudy weather. Results: A Nice grin. The bike pulls alot better....much torquier ! Very satisfied. It kind of made it seem like I was on a much lighter bike. I'm running the TTS Mastertune with one of their canned calibrations and I'm not getting any popping or surging. If you're not familiar with that...its like the SERT but has more features including a program called V-tune which basically is used to refine canned maps into custom maps for your bike by doing a few data runs. I will be doing those soon. So if you're looking for bolt in mild cams for a stock 96"... so far I'd give the 26 h a serious look. I am also REALLY please with the pipe. I love the look and sound...I didn't want a loud pipe although it barks nicely when you wack it. Its got a nice, very tolerable rumble at idle and cruise.
