Oil Cooler

What oil cooler is everyone using? I have found a couple I like, but looking for something that has looks as well as functionality. Looks being secondary. Just tryin to get ready for Summer...

Thanks.

I am using the HD touring cooler on my Road Glide.

Seems like that was actually a fairly decent deal if I remember correctly.

I believe I have the same one. Touring Oil Cooler Kit P/N 62895-03A.
I believe it has been superceded by the new "Turbulator" premium oil cooler.

I get distracted by your avatar....sheesh!

I have been looking at the HD ones. I like the low mount idea other than the vulerability they have when considering rocks and the like.

To go low mount though, I would have to use a Jagg...

An inexpensive option is, go to the junkyard and buy a condenser coil from a car's AC...spray it black and mount it.

Last time I checked Gray, he is not riding a rat shovel like you used to.

I have the H-D. It mounts low, but so far have had no problems with rocks on my EG or my Heritage. They seem to be pretty tough.

If my Trusty-Rusty-Fisher Price Measuring Caliper is anywhere near correct, the down tube on my Deluxe is 1 1/8"

Old Cowboy has failed to amuse us
I put one of the new Jagg 10-row low mounts on my '07 Road Glide a couple of weeks ago. It's dropped the oil temp 25-30 degrees.

The highest temp I've seen since mounting it is 225*. Before that, I'd see 250-255* under the same conditions (90*+, stop & go).

I'd post a link, but the last time I checked, they didn't have the new 10-row low mount on their web site. But if you give them a call, they definitely know about it.

Day late.
I can't tell the difference, but I think it works in theory, but both my bikes have the HD cooler.

First one, I was leaving for Memphis in couple days, and wanted it now. 2nd I just wanted to put it in the loan.

Jaggs seem very popular, and cheaper.
