Mine does the same thing passing 5800 rpms in 3rd gear or above. Docent seem to do it in first or second but it's only there for a split second. I just figured it's tired valve springs. When Dave does the top end the baisly heads should fix that.

I don't think I got even close to 5800 rpm. We'll see, maybe I have a broken or weak valve spring?

I know for certain that my rear cylinder head gasket is blown. I took it the stealership for warranty repair. I'll know more sometime this week.

I'd say pull both heads, have 'em put in .030 head gaskets, raise the CR a smidge. Higher CR equals more power.

But I won't.......
