Savannah Crab Leg Run...Saturday May 30th
Okay, here it is......
Mikeys SC11 run was such a success that we South East Doofs have decided to do this every month. Saturday May 30th we will ride to Savannah Ga to eat Crab Legs and Oysters at the Shellhouse at hwy 204 & I-95 right next to the Harley shop. Savannah is a beautiful city with an awsome riverfront. The plan is to..... Ride down, eat, hit the river front and ride back. From Charlotte it is about 250 miles, from Columbia it is about 150 miles. I have done this before and it is a nice ride with plenty of bonding time with the bike. I usually take back roads down and the super slab back. It is a nice night ride especially coming up 26. The route down is pending and meet up points will be determined by who decided to come. I cant no way go for crab without Fazile, so Mrs. PeaceKeeper will be riding along on this one. http://www.shellhousesav.com/ Sign up here, it is sure to be another great SE Doof run....

I'll be camping with a buddy of mine in Gettysburg, PA earlier that week for Mem. day (...turns out there's a Hwy 43 that runs right into town). I'll probably meet you in Charlotte for the ride down, then slip back up 16 & 75 to Atlanta.

Might find a way to head south for some seafood. Put me on the tentative list. 5 1/2 hours, 343 miles

I'm tentative. Going to the Coca Colo 600 the weekend before(will be gone the whole weekend). Might be tough to get a kitchen pass. But I will try.

Thats fine with me, just thought that some might want to bed down over night in Savannah and ride home Sunday. I'll get with Mikey and see what he says but as far as me thats fine.
